OldBuilders Job Description: A large fire in the 1920's resulted in extensive damage to the building and to stonework on roof parapets, some of this stone work was repaired in 1920's with poured concrete, and old stonework was plastered with Portland cement, so now exists areas of original stone and areas of poured concrete. Remedial repairs to be carried out include, after removal of hard inappropriate cement render repairs to stone works, installation of stainless steel expanded metal reinforcements, Portland cement repairs to existing cementatius areas. Lime mortar plaster work to all original stone areas.
Some interior plasterworks, finished to skim coat (lime and silica sand).
